Gidday everyone
My family and a few friends were planning to head up to our block on the River Murray to go canoeing and a bit of time in and behind the Lizzy Anne ( The boat). Mother nature had other plans for the weekend and sadly we had to cancel. Its not very often we have to cancel as the weather in Morgan is usually fine and sunny but with a forcast for strong winds and rain and hail, we dicided to take a" raincheck" Sorry for the pun !!!!

Ardy - that sucks. Last year we had 3-4 weekends lost due to high winds etc....if I remember right. This year, I think we lost MAYBE 1 Sunday...most of the time the weather was great. Now that fall has arrived, the water is too cool for the kids to play in like normal. The weather here tomorrow is supposed to be in the 90's...I think we are going to take the boat out for another run. It wont be our usual all afternoon experience because I am pretty sure the kids WONT get in the water....but still a good day to be out for a little while.

Dont forget us in the northern hemisphere during YOUR summer. We torture you with out pictures....return the favor when we are up here freezing out butts off.

Sorry to hear that Ardy. Hopefully, it's not a sign to come for your season. We had a miserable season here in the midwest....cold and rainy nearly every weekend throughout the summer. September has been the best month so far to go boating. I'm hoping I can get 1 more nice outing and a fall color tour before I have to do the ugly 'W' word.

My weekend boating went as planned. Unfortunately those plans also called for bringing it in for winterization at the end of the weekend. Sad to see an end to another season, but still had a great day out on Saturday.
