Im looking to mount a grill somewhere on a 2008 200SS. I plan on purchasing a tower. Suggestions for one that mounts to the tower and one that doesn't mount to the tower are welcome.

Mike... Is that the new SL-12 ? I've heard rumors, but that is awsome! Get the Orange SS graphics and the integrated bimini to boot!

Sorry Jason, it's the middle of winter, I'm just making fun of everything to keep from going postal.

I understand Mike it's cool. As i sit here in Afghanistan I am just thinking of buying up grades and having them shipped to my house to be sitting in my garage when I return home. I hate being out and not having a grill.

What tower are you going with?

Why wouldn't you just have a more traditional mouting model? I'm not sure what your boat is like, but there are a fair number of options from Magma's website..

Not sure on which tower at the moment I have been looking around but not settled on one. Open for suggestion there also.

Im looking at a mount on the swim platform that way I can remove the grill while under way.

I have also looked at moving into a used cuddy also. If I get what I owe on mine and find a good deal on a cuddy that would be another option I would consider.

If you are thinking of moving to a cuddy - what about a small cruiser?

I know Brett would make you a heck of a deal on his gorgeous 248 that he has...

I have put a lot of thought into his, being deployed I can't sell mine at the moment. I have thought about his and a move into a 230 or 240 sundancer. So many options but not much i can do from where i am.

Awsome set up what model grill do you have and what mount is that? Also did the poll come with the mount and how did you mount the poll to the grill?

That set up is what i was thinking about when I started this thread.
