I am looking at trading for a 2000 190 with a Volvo 4.3L (190 hp w/SS prop). I currently have a 17' Sea Ray with a 3.0L and would like a little more power when pulling a skiier with a few adult friends in the boat. The dealer says this will have plenty of power to pull a skiier with a few people in it. Does anyone have a similar setup? Would I be better off holding out and looking for a fuel injected 4.3L (225 hp)?
