If i want some extra filters and oil should i just get them from my dealer because i wanted to have all the parts to do my 10 hour and 20 hour oil change so i dont have to go and pick them up at the dealer every time. Plus some extra oil for the break in if it uses a little. They just told me my boat will not be in untill middle to end of February. not sure if i told you guys that im just super excited :)

Make sure the engine comes with the 'quick oil change' option. I had it on my '03 Glastron 4.3, and it was so much easier than the old fashioned way...............

thanks guys i beleive the volvo 3.0 comes with the quick oil change standard now in 07 the bad thing is that i hear they went to a maintenance free gimbal bearing which means instead of greasing it you will be replacing it :( Does anyone know if the gimbal gives you a warning like a wheel bearing in a car before it wears out and needs to be changed.

Like any bearing, gimbals tend to get noisy before they fail.
