Does anyone have experience or can comments about fiberglass thickness and mounting wakeboard towers? I am going to install a Monster Tower MT2 on my '95 Horizon 200 (have not started yet) and according to the installation iterature, the fiberglass needs to be 3/8" thick. I have not drilled any holes yet to see how thick the fiberglass is, but would anyone suggest that 3/8" is the minimum and I need to increase the thickness to 1/2" or does anyone have an experienced guess on how thick the fiberglass usually is at the common wakeboard mounting areas? I do not want to crack the gell cap. Any info would be appreciated.
