Solved Leak problem. The main leaks were around the Exhaust ports on sides of Hull.
Phil Dill charged $$$$$$$$$$ 300.00 !!!!!!!!!! for winterization!
Is that NORMAL
!
Thanks!
Yep that is what they charge, with the freeze coming thursday morning, you had better hurry. PD is high $$ for sure.
of course it is not that hard to do it yourself, I don't worry about fogging and all that (this is texas - freezing one day 70, the next), just get the water out of the system.
Flush, pull the drain plugs (4), depending on model (check you owners manual) you may have a water line on the fuel filter. disco the hoses to water pump and impeller. crank over two turns. make sure the lower unit emptys (down) or pull the drain plug if you have a model that has it on lower, and it should be at least able to survive the freeze.
With Texas weather, I hate doing a full winterize, heck I maybe out the following weekend, cruising or fishing when it hits 70.
Key is get the water out... no h2o, no problems.
Hope this helps.
What part of DFW are you, I can help you if needed.
