Hello, I'm a new to this site. I'm somewhat familiar with how these sites work as I'm on a Toyota Tacoma forum. I currently have a 96 Four Winns 170 Horizon w/ the 4.3 Volvo, which I'm trying to sell to make room for a bigger boat. I'm looking for a 19-23ft Four Winns open bow or Cuddy Cab If I dont sell it I will be content just keeping it as I have never had a single issue with it. For being 14 years old its in great shape, and I'm very happy with the quality of it. I wont buy anything but a Four Winns after owning this one. I look forward to chatting with you all in the future.

Welcome to the board! We'd love to see pictures of your boat if you have any to post.

Welcome. Looks to be in great shape for her age. My first boat was a 1991 FW 170 Freedom and really never had any issues. Something to be said for the FW quality.

If it was only 3 feet bigger I dont think that I would ever get rid of it.

Welcome fellow Northern Kentuckian! Your current boat looks to be in great shape. I just sold my 19-foot Maxum in November and upgraded to a 2005 H230. We are looking forward to getting out on the water in the next month or so. Glad you have joined the group.

Thanks for the welcome. Where do you normally boat?

Welcome! Great to see an older boat so well maintained. That thing looks to be in excellent shape. I think it will be easy to sell if that's what you want, if your not sure, better not cause I'll bet it'll go quick.

Thank you, this boat has been my pride and joy. Washed and cleaned after every use. I have had it for sale for 2 weeks and not one single person has come to look at it. If it doesn't sell in the next few weeks i'm going to just keep it.

Another newbie here! I just became the proud owner of a 2005 FW H250 this weekend. Looking forward to getting her on the water soon. I upgraded from a 1975 Delta 18' Tri Hull. The old Delta is still in great shape, but the family was beginning to outgrow her.

I must say I used the forum to help me decide on the boat I wanted to buy. Excellent info. Also, Four Winns has by far the best past product info including specs, parts lists, etc. My buddy has a 2002 FW H260 (his 2nd FW), so I have been impressed with their quality for some time. We don't have any FW dealers in the area, so there aren't many FW on the my part of the Mississippi. Regardless, I new the 250/260 was the boat I wanted with all the info I was able to gather.

Looking forward to reading the threads on this forum. The only problem is I get too many ideas that I first need to run by the admiral. I'll get some pics up in a few weeks. My new boat sat outside last summer and I need to put a little TLC in her to make her photo worthy.

Congrats on the new boat. I'm currently looking at 2. The first i a 2000 Four Winns Sundowner 215. I haven't looked at it yet but it has the 5.7 liter and look to be in great shape. It also has the camper top on it which is really nice to have. Not sure if I want the cuddy cab or not but they are asking 12k so I think its a great deal. The second is a 1999 Four Winns Horizon 205. Its also looks to be in great shape butit doesn't have the sport seating and has the two seats next to the motor which i'm dont like to much. But this boat has less than 300 hours and is very very clean. The seller is asking 10500. what do you guys think??? Pros and Cons?
