I am looking to get a coupler lock for my H230 trailer (or a keyed alike hitch and coupler lock set). Since my boat is still 3 hours away I am not positive what size I need (of course, there are different sizes). Anyone know if it is the 2.5" or the 3.5" span coupler lock that I need? I would guess 2.5"--but thought I would ask and see if anyone knows. Thanks!

You're talking on the trailer side, right? I have to say, I think those thin little pins are nearly worthless. I bought one of these: http://st16.flashecom.com/trimaxlocks/p ... id=UMAX100 and a receiver pin keyed alike. I got one of the "thin pins" also, but it's too long. Sorry, I don't remember what size it was, I've never used it.

Yes--I was looking at the thin pin. Something like this: http://www.trimaxlocks.com/_e/KEYED_ALIKE_RECEIVER_COUPLER_LOCK_SETS/product/TM33/TM33_Set_T3_Premium_5_8_Receiver_TC3_Coupler_Lock_3_5_Span_.htm. I have always used locks on the coupler of my trailers. Might be overkill, but it makes me feel better. I tend to leave my trailer or truck and trailer in the marina parking lot most of the weekend.

That might be the same set I bought, except in stainless. The Trimax locks are good quality IMO and I was able to get both of those and the UMAX100 all keyed alike.
