I am a first time boat owner. How do I figure out the manufacturer and size of the engine in the boat I just bought? It is a 1994 Four Winns Horizon 210 I/O. The manual and the web site say it is either a 5.0 liter or 5.8 liter EFI. I have never heard of EFI. The motor does not have any markings on it where it should and I can't find any others. |

The 5.0 and 5.8 Volvo Penta V8s from that time were Ford derived engines; with electronic fuel injection. There is, or rather should be a plate or decal on the port rocker cover with the model number and serial number on it Graham |

EFI = Electronic Fuel Injection. |
