My family had a boat when we were kids(17' ski ray). We got rid of it when I was about 17 or so. Now, I am taking delivery of a super clean 99' FW Horizon 200 tomorrow. Can't wait! We have 2 jet-skis, but it's just not the same as a boat, especially with small kids. Pictures to be posted soon!

Congratulation's on getting the boat. Never had jet skies but I've ridden them a few time had a blast. Boats are more accommodating for sure.

I really can't recall but I believe that year has the VDO helm cluster.

It's easy to tell, if it looks like this it is:

If it looks like this, it's not:

If it does have a VDO helm cluster, make certain every gauge works; cause the only reliable fix is to replace the whole cluster which costs about $600.

This one doesn't have the VDO cluster, but thanks for the tip!

Yes, the jetskis are a blast, but with small kids, they are almost useless...(unless of course Grandma and Grampa watch the kids while we play!) =)

That is okay, actually, Sea Ray did make a ski/wakeboard boat with direct drive, called a Ski Ray Spitfire. Not a big seller, but they did make one. :D
