Gonna stay home this holiday weekend, but should have my last mod done after the next weekend. I threw in a pic of our Saturday nite's dinner as proof it actually worked. Plus, a couple of the boat in the water. I'm still amazed at how quick it is and how fast it goes from 0 to screamin'. Thanks again, Tennja!

That is one nice setup. Where do you stow the grill when not in use?

Mike, it fits at the stern end of my ski locker and I still have room to store (and access fairly easy) two skiis, a kneeboard, and one table in its case. Since I'm "between Admirals", I removed the porta potty from the head and I now call it my fridge (or beer locker). I've got a large Ice Cube cooler (think its around 48qt/75cans) that fits perfect straight back, then directly in front in the floor indentation I put a 24qt/36can Igloo Maxcold that looks like it was custom made for it. They almost lock into place they fit so well. I use the underseat built in for food as the seat is pretty tough to pull up rubbing against the backrest(hopefully just cuz it's new) and I don't have to get into it too often.

A new 260 with 420HP, a head full of beer, strips & spuds on the grill, beautiful scenery, and freedom...

We are not worthy. Image

Remember Mike, It's a "Fridge" !

P.S. I've been boating since I was 8 and I do feel like I'm not worthy for the first time. If my next mod turns out the way I'm hoping, I'll really be thankful!

That's a nice looking boat. Is Sea Note a reference to the overall thousands you spent on this beauty? How does the grill attach to the platform?

Can we get a photo of those 2 coolers in the head if it's not too much trouble? After reading, I thought...jeez, why do I keep the porta-potty in there when it's never used? Would love to make it a beverage center like you did!

Gorgeous boat too! The very best of luck w/her.

Xavid: The grills is attached via a 3/8" high circular mount that takes 7 screws into the platform. It then has a 28" pedestal that locks into the base as well as the grill locking into the top. I got my idea from the fantastic photos that Tennja posted on here some time ago and never forgot about it. I'm going out on her this Saturday morning and will be back on Monday. I'll take a few more pics to show you exactly how it looks. As for the name, you're very intuitive! Don't know if you noticed but the "S" in Sea is a $. For as many people that get the double entendre, there's as many that don't have a clue! Aside from you're theory of the thousands I spent, the name is a reflection on my actual name and any friends that know me see the boat and know it's me.

SC: I'll take a few pics of my "fridge" for you, too. It's funny how you boat all of your life and never have a head on board the boats you own (or need one), then get a boat that has one and every one says, oh wow, don't get rid of it! Well, being the Captain of my ship and no current full time Admiral, the potty got 86'd for adult beverages.....

Refer to Mike's post a few posts back in reference to what else could you need......thanks Mike, I could NOT have put it better!

Thanks very much, in advance. It is much appreciated and thanks for putting the idea in my head to begin with. (Head that's never used vs. Beverage Center that will be used 98% of the time = DUH)

Man! That grille is a great idea! I have three grandchildren that are living with us now so I must keep the head for Lake Shasta!

Here is a couple of shots from 4th of July at Lake Shasta!

Every year they have a parade, this year was about 30 boats! Lots of fun for all.

I have a similar setup for my grill, and I love it. People comment on it all the time and I'm sure I could sell brats for $5 if i tried. Anyway, for those considering it... And the OP... That thing gets hot. I have had guests lean on it (or stumble) as they got out of the water. It makes a nice scar if you aren't careful. Make sure your guests know not to use it for balance.

Also I'd like to see you beverage cooler. Do show!
