you could start with some easy checks:
check if electric contact of the safety switch is clean (I mean the switch where the red safety wire is attached)
if this is ok turn the key, keep it in ingition position and move forward and rear the throttle lever: if moving the lever the engine turns on it means the breaker device of the lever is dirty or has some oxidation.
As soon as the engine starts remind to put immediately the lever in neutral position.
These could be some reasons.
The white button: it's clearly a "reset button", what does it reset we are not allowed to know, maybe it's an industrial secret
