I made a rookie mistake today and pulled my boat out of the water with the trim 3/4 down. I made it up the launch pad and around the corner when I heard the noise. It dragged for about 4-5 feet then stopped- at about 5-10 mph around a corner. No visable damage. Is it possible that I damaged it internally? The bottom of the trim is not scrapped too bad.

It's not likely you damaged anything. Is it leaking lube? If not, I'd try running it on muffs and shifting forward and reverse a few times. These things are pretty tough.
