I am removing the 5.7L engine from my 240H, in order to fix a valve issue and low compression on one cylinder. (I am also fixing a leaky hydraulic trim hose at the inner transom plate.) I was wondering if someone had done this before, and how they dealt with the large rear seat / engine cover.
I removed the screws underneath the aluminum piano hinge at the back and rolled it over onto the swim platform -- but how I will get it properly back into position is now a question?

Hi

Well, I would first call Four Winns. They "may" have a system or method of doing this that they could e-mail you.

GOOD LUCK
Paul
