I just saw that the new H180 is now available with a 150. In the past it was limited to 130. This is a big plus as the 150 is going to accelerate much better with the V6. :D

Woot!!

This is good news. I'm really surprised they are offering the Yamaha 4 stroke. weight etc.

Good news though.

Billcruise, Make sure you post some pictures when you get the H180OB .

And copy Kearney on the pics of it being towed behind your 328. He will love it.

  ....good one! Well, I'm going to the Grand Rapidsboat show this weekend.... I hope all 3 boats I'm interested are there. (FW H180OB, Checkmate 2000BRX and Glastron GT180). Anyone know if the FW dealer will be there with an H180OB?

Cap'n, I've been accused of being 'determined' (stubborn) in the past and this may be another case. We'll see.

Hall's will have the H180OB at the GR show. It won't have a 150 on it, but will be the same boat. The Checkmate will be there, and I'm pretty sure the Glastron will be there also.
Skipper Buds may even have the Sea Ray 185 Outboard sport there.

Skipper Buds also just added Bayliner to their brands, so they should be on display as well. The little 160OB is a cute little boat, but max HP is only 90. For about $10K with trailer, it's a good starter boat that should sell well.

Yeah but it's a short 1.5 hr flight :) Flying private pilot into Gerald Ford Airport on Saturday a.m. Beats 6 hrs in the car any day!

I just go home from the GR show.

Hall's had 2 Four Winns H180 OB boats....one SS and one Fish and Ski. They both had 130HP E-Tecs. The boat takes a 25" shaft motor.

There were 3 Checkmates 2000BRXs there.

Honestly, the fit and finish and just basic comfort of the Checkmate isn't in the same league as the Four Winns. The Checkmate is a super lightweight boat that is really only good for gong fast.

There was a Glastron 180 GT there. It had a 115 HP E-Tec on it. While it is an ok boat, the fit/finish just has a cheaper feel to me than the Four Winns. This boat has a 20" shaft.
