Congrats. Glad you found the boat you wanted. Used SS's are out there if you look hard enough, and I'm sure you saved a bunch of $'s over a new one. Plus, you don't have to worry about the catalyst engine in a 2008. |

Funny you found it in Iowa. That is where I found our 07 H200SS when I was looking for one. Not to bad of a drive for us Wisc. guys to go pick it up. I think total drive there, test drive boat, and drive back it took me about 10-12 hours. I was so excited to be picking it up the drive didn't bother me at all! Congrats on the new boat and I know you will enjoy it. The SS models are a lot of fun to drive and has a lot more room than your current boat. Not sure about that 5.7L, but mine had the 5.0L and seh was plenty fast so with a 5.7L that thing should really scream! |

Thanks all for the well wishes. It's supposed to be close to 60 here today and tomorrow... really starting to get that spring fever setting in now. Unfortunately, I think there is still at least 6-8 inches of ice on the lake ![]() Rob- we will definitely have to try and hook up on the water some time this summer... I don't think we will be that hard to spot ![]() |

Badger you could tow it up by me for the winter as well. Place I store my boat at for the winter charges me $120.00 for the whole winter. Only disadvantage is no access to the boat all winter. Not a big deal for me as I usually pick my boat up early in spring and get any work or mods done before it gets warm enough to go out. It is inside and cold storage, but at least its indoors. |

BadgerRPh wrote: I don't think we will be that hard to spot Yep, I'm pretty sure you're the only red SS in the area ![]() I park both vehicles outside for the summer, but $1200 for storage and maintenance for the year doesn't seem too bad when dedicated garages are $200/month. I wonder how much freedom you sacrifice with the In/Out storage since they likely don't staff 24x7. Just curious, but did they increase their rates over 2010? Here's what was on their site: 20' to 23' - $725.00 I lean towards a personal storage garage because I could keep all boat accessories in there, but the in/out is also appealing. |

07200SS- Thanks for the offer, will definitely keep that in mind. How soon would I have to decide on pursuing that option? I know that some places fill up real fast. Rob- I hear you about the flexibility a garage offers. I think they were actually smart enough to know that the 200SS wasn't actually 20'... either that or I got a favorable quote ![]() Diver- Sorry to hear I beat you to it (well not really, but you know how it goes ![]() |

He is on a first come first serve basis so I try to get mine in as ealry as possible, but i didn't drop mine off until the end of October lsat year and he still had plenty of room and I know one guy who isn't going back next year (sold his V258) so he has plenty of room most years. Keep in touch should you decide to go bigger and need winter storage. |
