Hi all I have a 2006 Horizon 180,would like to know what the little white button next to the ignition switch is for,also when I turn the key to start it sometimes it takes about 3 turns to start,any help appreciated.

On mine it's the horn. When my engine is cold, I would give an arm to start in 3. Welcome to the forum.

Thanks for the reply but it is not the horn its is just a small white button next to where the key goes,as for starting i mean i can turn the key and nothing happens no ignition no power but then after about 3 goes it starts up fine.

On my boat there is a breaker next to the key. I believe it is an ignition power breaker. Never had to reset it.

As far as the 3 times, sounds like a bad switch.

you could start with some easy checks:
check if electric contact of the safety switch is clean (I mean the switch where the red safety wire is attached)

if this is ok turn the key, keep it in ingition position and move forward and rear the throttle lever: if moving the lever the engine turns on it means the breaker device of the lever is dirty or has some oxidation.
As soon as the engine starts remind to put immediately the lever in neutral position.

These could be some reasons.

The white button: it's clearly a "reset button", what does it reset we are not allowed to know, maybe it's an industrial secret :) , by the way it's not written on any user's guide I've ever seen till now.
