Hey All,
First off, thank you all for posting such great information. I have been lurking and reading through the forums for several months and finally pulled the trigger on an 05' H230. Pretty much the same boat as H230Mike's, though probably not as well maintained. Pics are soon to come.

Here's the lowdown:

05' H230 blue
5.7Gxi/ DP
34.5 hours
Corsa thru hull
Wakeboard tower
Price: $25,000 :D

Ive since done the following: dual battery w/ switch, changed all fluids, had props blanced and polished. cleaned the entire boat.

Yet to do: fix the tach, fuel gauge

Has anyone had any problems with these components? As always, I appreciate all of the info!!

WAH230

Welcome, sounds like a great boat for a good price. Low hours.
You have only just started to fill the hole with money, but isn't that half the fun?

Have fun.

Welcome to the forum, but we don't believe you own a boat unless you post pictures of it.

I hope you put those dual batteries on the port side.

If the boat's in good condition (how could it not be with those hours?), you bought it right. Where do you boat? Tell us more...

All of a sudden we seem to have a lot of 230's around here. :D

I was leery of the hours at first, but when I got more of the history from the previous owner, I decided to go ahead with a full survey. I boat mostly in Washington state. Lake Cushman, Mason Lake and hopefully Puget Sound. It does not have a FWC system so, I will wait to dip it in the salt.

Welcome! Agree that with those hours and that price--it sounds like you got a great deal. I look forward to the pics. Congrats!

Welcome aboard!
You are going to have a great summer... That low hours and price …you stole that things... Image
You stated that tach is not working… I hope your hour meter is working right since it is a part of tachometer gauge... You should check and make sure your hour meter is working and only tach potion of the gauge has the issue. I am sure your Surveyor noticed if it was that obvious although.
