So yes I have searched but seen no recent answers I am satisfied with. Four wins quoted over 4000 for their wakeboard tower, does anyone have pictures and prices of ones actually installed on a horizon? I did google image search and get a few but wanted people's actual experiences . . . Thanks! |

Here are a few shots of the factory tower on my H260: On the water: ![]() On the trailer: ![]() Folded down: ![]() My only real issue with the factory tower is the fact it folds forward for storage. This would probably be a two person job if I weren't 6'8" tall. I took a 2X6 cut to 9' long and wrapped it in some old carpet. I lay this across the bow and rest the tower on it so the tower doesn't sit directly on the seats (as seen in the picture above). Overall, though, it is a well-made and sturdy tower. I think it looks great and really follows the lines of the boat well. Also, I bought my boat used and the tower was already installed as a factory option. So I have no info on pricing. Good luck on your search. |

Have you looked at Samson towers, cost you around $2000.00 for one built specificly for your boat. |

Another photo of FW tower. Also installed at the factory, so the big $$ were added to purchase price. ![]() |

Here is a picture of the tower I just installed a week ago. I purchase this universal tower on DIYWake.com: http://www.diywake.com/shop/shopexd.asp?id=556 and also purchased these can speakers on the same site: http://www.diywake.com/shop/shopexd.asp?id=617. I did the installation of a new stereo system (head unit, amp, & can speakers) as well as installed the tower with 2 buddies. It took us about 15 hours to do both. Working with DIYWake was great, the contact there (Raul) was always available via phone or email to field questions...even on Sunday while we were doing the install. You can't beat the price and this tower seems to be very sturdy and well built for only $900 shipped. This tower is white powder coated and all the assembly pieces are very high quality polished aluminum & stainless. I know this is an after market universal tower & I haven't boarded behind it yet, but so far, I am very happy with finished product. I hope this helps and good luck! ![]() |

Drnovascotia, do you require a fold-able tower or is a fixed tower OK? If you don't require a foldable tower, I am partial to the arch. When I first ordered my boat, I was a bit disappointed that I had to compromise with my wife-who would have no ugly tower of any kind on her new boat-and get the arch. In hindsight, I am now glad it worked out that way. I think it looks better and the bimini top that fits with it slips right under it and is easy to use. Just my $0.02. |

The real beauty of getting the FW tower is if you get the built in Bimini top that rolls into a boot with it.... it is large and blocks out quite a bit of high noon sun... this is harder to find in an aftermarket tower... IMHO this is worth the extra $$$.... but if you like hanging onto your money and just want a tower, I like the one picture by mrkaly.... this is good value... |

Keep in mind, the Bimini does not appear usable on the Forward arch while skiing. That could be a BIG factor. There must be someone that does it after-market, because I saw a forward arch in the back of a PU truck this week at the gas station. It looked brand new (bimini was built into it), and identical to the FW one. |

Walt wrote: Keep in mind, the Bimini does not appear usable on the Forward arch while skiing. Not entirely true. The bimini folds into about half of its size to still be used while someone is being towed from the arch's towpoint. It is not as large, obviously, but it CAN still be used. |
