I've got an H190 and keep thinking that a bow filler cushion might be nice to have. Does anyone else have/use one? If so, do you use it often? Would you recommend or is it a waste of money? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

We have one for our boat. We have not used our boat much since new, but it is nice to have. My wife and kids like that type of set up. Just creates another great area to stretch out and relax.

Only about every time we take the boat out. I'll just say I like the "scenery" that is attracted to it

We used it twice. It was a novelty for the kids.

It's a must have for us and our kids. It makes a nice lounge area and it's a good place for a small cooler, bag...etc. underneath.

Use mine all the time. Kids, dogs, women, myself all LOVE them. Another trick I did was buy 2 throw cushions (wal mart) and sew a strap with a snap on them (so you can secure them where the bow cover goes), Women LOVE to relax with them under there heads while sunning (honestly the BEST improvement I've made to my boat).

On my FS, the only time I've used it was when I camped on the lake and slept in the bow....

I've never used them on my boat. I usually have a bunch of teens on board so its not something they're interested in. In fact, they are so big and bulky I don't even store them on the boat... they sit in my storage building.

I'm looking for an ice chest with a snap on cushion for the lid that will fit that area of the bow...and be somewhat flush with the surround cushions. My plan is to remove the hinges and install them at the long edge of the chest so it can be opened from the cockpit area without having to slide it around to gain access. Will serve as the bow filler and ice chest that doesn't have to be moved to gain access.....thought a rubber mat underneath it will prevent sliding around while motoring around.

just a thought.

Would you mind posting some pics??? I like that idea, as long as they are not too bulky.

On my last boat, I secured it with a bungy somehow attached to the bow lockers and through the cooler handle. Mine was about the right height... just folded up a towel and layed over top.

We use ours all the time. Not only do we like to have the room to stretch out, but it's a great place to stick our soft cooler and boat shoes underneath. In the shade and out of the way.

Never take ours out. It was the first thing I ordered when I bought the boat.
