Post subject:  Boat lift

This seems like a simple question but I thought I would double check just to make sure. I bought a used boat lift and I am going to try and put it in this weekend. When setting up the bunks I should just mimic the trailers inner bunks? All I see in the manual is that the trailers inner bunks carry the load outers for stability. Nothing about lift points so I assume I should make it the same.

Thanks

Yep just make sure your bunk run PAST the transom of the boat or over time it will hook your hull. A hooked boat is worthless on the market.

When your trailer bunks or lift bunks dont go past the transom. Being the transoms is the heaviest part of the boat in makes the hull sag in the rear making a hook. Its like running with a permanate trim tab in 8.
