Will this base fit my 2000 horizon h180? Looks the same. White 2 wire with stainless top. My base is corroded, light pole sad looking, baby jesus is crying, etc.

If you live in a big city like orlando, you could buy this at a marine store and take it back if it does not fit... however, you should first try to salvage your old one. Buy some CRC electric cleaner from an auto parts store and spray down any corrosion on the metal... this stuff is amazing, I have used it to regain years of life out of stuff.

Look at your light pole. Does the bottom have two flat pieces that contact the base, or are they two round ones. My boat used the flat ones, so I had to chang out the pole and the base. The standard base is the round pins.

Something to think about. If you have ever wanted to fly a flag from that stern light, you will want to change it out with a locking stern light base. Otherwise the flag blowing in the wind will loosen the collar and the whole thing will take a deep water swim.

Yup, I do fly a flag. The factory is a non-locking. It's a keyed flat 2 pin thing. Nothing like what you can buy at west marine.

I would really like some LED lighting and the front I was going to swap out anyways. I might retrofit the rear globe, I'll try taking it apart and cleaning it

Are you flying the flag on the light pole? If so, you can try this set up

If allows the stern light pole to lock in. It will keep the flag off the bottom of the lake/ocean. Wish I knew there was a problem with the collar type before I gave up the red, white, and blue to the fishes.

I just placed an order on walmart.com w/free site-to-store shipping for a 60" Attwood All-Round LED Light + Attwood 2 NM Navigational LED Light w/Stainless Steel Housing. Lucky for me, I work for the Wal-Mart Home Office and I get 10% off.

I love how they price match now too. I got my 500 sahara auto bilge for $38
