Not really liking the fiberglass arch. |

Me neither on the arch....just doesn't look right....maybe like a new model vehicle where it grows on you after a while, but it has some more growing to do with me. I do like the extra swim platform and double walk-thru aft though. |

Nope, negative on the arch. So is it called the 230 again, not the 240? I'm sorry, I just don't care for many aspects of this design direction. I keep trying... |

That arch is growing on me... I am now ok with it. I like that swim platform... Based on look it is comparable to current 220 with bigger platform so it is 230... with this trend 240 will become 250 and 260 will be 270? ...... will they come out shortly or in 2012 ? One issue I have is my Admiral does not seem to like new H series… ![]() |

I like the overall shape, not so much the arch, what I'd like to see on their bigger bowriders is a hardtop option, like many walk around fishing boats have, with a higher windshield. That eliminates the need for a bimini, less canvas the better.... Now being the mechanical minded sort I am, I'd like to see the engine access please... I just completed a project to make my old boat easier to work on, I put a set of take apart hinges in the heavy bulkhead behind the rear seat, that I had to lift out to do any work on the engine. Now I take out one seat, and the bulkhead opens like a door... I would hope that these boats come with at least a remote mount oil filter, but they really should have closed cooling standard for the what they cost.... |

Meh. Arch is too chunky and ugly. The lines of the boat are not appealing to me. It doesn't look like the people onboard are comfortable. It doesn't have a very cool look to me. But what do I know, I'm 44 and thought drooping pants and long leg shorts would have gone out of fashion 15 years ago. Still waiting. The more I see new models the happier I am with my old model. |

I kinda like the arch as it looks clean and blends with the hull better (I'll bet it even has power raise/lower ![]() |

LouC - I agree with you all the way on the service issues with these boats....seems they put little effort in maintenance consideration. A fold out rear seat is a great idea....as it is i have a tiny access hole in front of the engine and it's under a seat....so i have to dismantle a seat bottom and still have to dive into a hole to barely reach (forget seeing) the front of the engine. A sectioned rear seat with hinges is a great idea - i hope they read this forum...i do have a remote oil filter which is very nice to have....however the fuel filter is doesn't allow you to get hands on it - plus all the close hoses and brackets prevent a filter wrench from going around it - plain stupid. I notice the 220's have much better access - just too big a boat for my purposes, but very nice to have access to the engine. |

Overall--I am not impressed. I really fell in love with the lines on the 2003-2011 H Series. I know things must change to keep things fresh--but they really abandoned everything I loved about the old design. Perhaps it will grow on me. Just a bit too boxy or harsh looking for me upon first impression. |

The arch makes the boat look cheap IMO, the 220 has better access yes but to get to that starter jeez is a pain in the butt there is no need for all that molded in fiberglass in the engine compartment at all. And not to mention that panel which separates the engine compartment from the gas tank oh wait maybe we need that one! LOL it still is a major pain to get into the rear to get to that starter it was one of those I wish I would've paid someone to do it moments. |

Thanks for the link to the video! No bathroom....that's a deal breaker for my admiral. Looks like this really is the replacement for the 220 and the 250 will be the replacement for the 240. Has some nice features--but still not my cup of tea. |
