Does anyone know the diameter of the faucet on H230 cockpit sink? My boat is 3 hours away so I can't check. Thanks.

I don't have an answer for you, but why do you need to know the faucet diameter?

An excellent question. My buddy and I are looking into modifying the sink into a beer tap with one of those Heineken 5L kegs. A silly project--but we never use the sink as a sink and thought this might be fun. We'll see.

Now that is the kind of creativity this country needs. You are an inspiration! I will be doing some work on my 250 this week. I am reasonably certain it has the same fixture. I'll take some measurements. Would you put the keg under the seat? Or somehow under the sink itself?

We are thinking under the seat right next to the sink. We would run tubing through the faucet (that we would need to flush out after a day's use) and then modify the exisiting faucet valve into a tap. We are doing this in a way that we could easily turn it back into a sink if we wanted to. My buddy is like MacGyver--so it should be interesting to see what he comes up with. If it works--I'll post the results.

Would you set it in a cooler with ice?

I think that is out plan--though we are also looking at various ways to wrap the keg to keep in the cold. We had one down in Florida at spring break this year and I was amazed how cold it stayed is a minimal amount of ice. Of course it must be pre-chilled to begin with.
