ok so when I ordered my 180 i ordered standard seating with the seat louger. When I got the boat it came with the twin captians chairs. So they put the seatlounger on the due bill along with the new carpet etc. so all is fine. its been like 4 months and still no seat. I have arranged things in my boat enough that I have decent enough storage and I think I like all the floor space with the captains chairs. They said the seatlounger will bilt right in. Just wondering what your opinions are. |

We have the seat lounger combo in our 170. It actually gets used quite a bit by the kids streatching out on it. There still is enough seating in the bow to not make it an issue, at least for us. |

We have the same boat with the same seating as you (2 captains chairs). We like this combo as it gives a lot of space in the back of the cockpit. The kids have liked sitting down their on the floor on cold days covered in a blanket. They seem to get a real kick out of it. The only advantage we (the wife and I) thought the jumper seat would give is a dedicated seat for that 7th passenger if you are running the boat to capacity, instead of cramming 3 people in the bow. We haven't had that many people in the boat yet. |

yea that was the only think I was thinking but we havent had 7 in there yet and not sure how many times I will have 7 in there and even if there is 7 in there when one is in the water there will only be 6 aboard. The storage below the lounger was one reason i ordered it that way but I'm starting to think I should just stick with the captains chairs. Does the sun lounger bolt down to the existing pedistal mount? |

I'm not certain but judging from boats I have seen in the past, I would doubt that the lounger will mount on your existing swivel mount. I would say that it will mount over it instead. I would have a chat with your dealer, to double check exactly how he is going to mount it. That may help to sway you're descision one way or another. I remember on a boat that my brother owned that there wasn't much space under a lounger seat. I think he kept some spare ropes and a prop, that was about it. |

If there is a cost difference in the two options, then yes definately. The agrivation of not getting what you ordered should be at least worth some freebies at the dealership too! ![]() |
