Does anyone have a picture or know the part number for the blower on the 2003 Horizon/Freedom 180?

Thanks

They are pretty universal. Most likely a 3" inline blower. The other common choice is a 4".

I just replaced mine last month because the original was loud. Bought a Shurflo first and it was noisier than the old one. Returned it for a Rule and it was nice and quiet. All had the same mounting pattern, 2 screws. Had to cut off my wire connector and use new end crimp connector.

Thanks 97

I was thinking it might be something specific to my boat/engine.

No, which is a good thing. You will 2 need 16" wire ties and maybe some butt connectors.

Yeah, mine is a real pain to access. Had to hug the exhaust manifold with the riser choking me and could still barely reach it with my fingertips. Kept dropping the screws into the bilge. One of the best tools I ever bought was a long three finger gripper to pick up all the things dropped into the bilge.

Mine is as well. Unless I want to dismantle the rear section of my boat. Not looking forward to it.

Is my blower missing? I traced the black vent dryer type hose to the bottom of the engine. And here it is not connected to any thing:

Is it missing? I snapped a pic. Only thing I can think us mechanic did not hook it up or put it back on when I had the manifolds and risers replaced.

Or is hidden down there and I missed it?

Mine is located on the "top" of the engine compartment and the tubing runs down to the bottom of the bilge so the blower can pull the air out. From what I can see it appears to be missing.
