I got one, really nice boat, but it does lack storage. If I had it my way (read wifey has all the say) I would have got a 200 and a fishing boat as well. All in all the FS203 is a good craft, it can be improved for sure. For occasional fishing trips, it works well. what species of fish? Where are you located? |

I got a 2006 F&S with a 5.0 GL SX and really love the boat. It has everything that I wanted in a boat. I use it on fresh water lakes and it handles real well. It could use a little more storage. The trolling motor works great on a calm lake. You may have to get a trolling plate for the main motor if the water is rough. Darrin |

Darrin ditto on the trolling motor, any good wind like we have here in Teaxs ALL the time, it is on highest setting. I was looking into a larger motor, but that requires 24-36 volt adaptation if that is even possible, Figured I would live with what I have for now. I am going to replace that mount tha comes stock TM with the new system. No metal plate left hanging of front, nice softer plastic(?) and you can get it in white so it blends in, price is about a bill. |

how do you like the dual purpose side of the boat? so far i hear alot about the fishing side of it but can it pull a skier or a tube? I only fish every once in a while but will probably be doing a bit of family stuff with it to. I live in bonnyville AB by a good size lake. Thanks for the responses. |

The boat has plenty of power to pull a skier or tube. I do more sking and tubing than fishing and the 5.0 liter(220 hp) motor is plenty for me. Darrin |
