Wanted to share and join the community of Four Winns owners. She is a 2006 210 SS, I named her "Maize Rage".

Thanks a bunch! I do have one tiny issue I need to address. The back left taillight on the trailer is out. I do not know if its just a short or if I need to replace the entire thing. Right one works just fine.

To not alienate the other viewers of these forums, Michigan fans recognize the term "Maize Rage". It is a reference to the University of Michigan and their student section both in basketball and football games. We also have a song dedicated to it released in 2010 by Pop Evil. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mecVP79vcI8

Any given Saturday you can find me at the Big House :) Just Google "The Big House" and you will be directed to Michigan Stadium, the most amazing Saturday experience out there.

As to where I will be going? Right now I don't know which is what I could use some help on. Located in the Saginaw area so anywhere north or south will work. Probably the MBS Bay area, Higgens, Houghton, Sanford or any other spots users can recommend. I am going into this slightly blind though I am researching places to take her. I can tell you my dream weekends will be up on Traverse Bay and Torch Lake but any suggestions or recommendations will be greatly appreciated!

What are you towing with? I know on the GM line of trucks, there are separate fuses for the trailer lights. Might be the easiest place to start your troubleshooting.

Good luck!

Even GM doesn't have separate fuses for left and right.....I think it best to pull cover and test light the socket....if it wks then bulb out. Otherwise check both sides of the connection at hitch---nice boat even with the one eyed trailer:-)

Also check to make sure that manipulating the swing tongue of that trailer hasn't fouled a wire.

welcome aboard!

Check for a good ground as well. It seems more often than not, poor grounding is the issue (at least for me).

From tri-cities, I think houghton/higgins lakes are where I would head. Personally, I haven't been on them, but i hear there are some shallow spots. Certainly take the time to get to know the lakes before you go around and wreck a prop or worse :x One of my buddies from Midland slips his boat on torch and travels up most weekends. Granted he has a crown 270 cruiser so he can stay aboard on the weekend. Still, it may be worth a shot. I think the slips are running 1400 or 1500 for the season (covered, with some amenities, bathrooms, etc). I can't speak to many other lakes as I spend my time at torch

It is always bitter sweet when Fall comes around each year. I know that boating season is coming to an end, but spending Saturdays in Ann Arbor are hard to beat. I'm from Saginaw originally, but moved to the West side of the State 10 years ago. Not knocking the Saginaw Bay or anything, but Lake Michigan is like the Caribbean in comparison. I heard though that the Bay is getting much cleaner due to the zebra mussels, so you should have plenty of good water to explore right in your backyard without towing 150 miles to Torch or Traverse City.

My parents just got a place in Traverse, so I do plan on taking my boat up there a few times this year.

My 2003 Tahoe does, as does my buddy's Suburban - best look at your owners manual and see. They are on the fuse block inside the driver's door on mine.

Welcome aboard.....
When the trailers lights go out... I often connect with a few trucks and see if issue consist with any tow vehicle... Tail lights for trailer is not expensive and might be a worth to replace with LED one.
