Go with 89....and add stabil blue ethanol trmt to your fuel...basic rule for is if I will have fuel for two weeks it needs ethanol trmt...if I'm at lake and steady burning it up then no stabil needed.

I'm still on LAST YEARS 87 octane. Albeit, I used stabil (ethanol type) before storing. During the season, I only use plain 87, filling up only when needed about every 3-4 weeks without issue, no additives. If your engine is a higher compression (ie, 10:1 or greater) than you would want higher octane. Otherwise, the cheap stuff should suffice. I do use FI cleaner early in the season (after the first refill) and late in the season (usually september). Ethanol hasn't been the issue with me as others claim, however I fill the boat and car at the same time and place incase I do get bad gas, it's easier to identify.

SuperChuck,

I just had the unpleasant experience of trying to identify the transducer for my 2003 H210. It took a great deal of poking around the internet only to find out it was an airmar unit, and that the Four Winns part number is sufficent for them to identify the part.....however, because the part is in demand (for some reason, it seems that all the boats with that transducer must have a similar problem) it would take two to three weeks to deliver. Ultimately I just bought a new Faria unit which, while more expensive than just the transducer was much easier than wasting precious time trying to locate the part.

If you still want to identify it try this link:

http://www.fourwinns.net/partbook/basemodel.php?model=210H-U00

BTW the folks at Faria were extraordinairily helpful.

Poke around I found my part included in the parts list for the 2002 models and not the 2003 models, but the part was the same.

Good Luck!
