I am looking for pictures of a sucessfully mounted and functioning transom mounted tranducer. I have purchased a Hummingbird 1157c and there are a lot of conflicting information about transducer mounting on a stepped hull. Also, I would like to see some creative mounting pics for the GPS unit. I am hoping to find the right spot off the hop without having to swiss cheese my boat. :? All pictures will be appreciated...Thanks

I haven't got any photos, but on a 1999 225 Sundowner I had, which had the paddle wheel speed sensor like your boat probably has, I fitted the Humminbird transducer the same distance from the centreline as the speed transducer, but on the opposite side of the boat. It worked fine.

Thank-You, I do have the paddle wheel behind the stern drive on the starboard side.
