Good morning-I tried to search for this but didn't see anything. I am the owner of 2000 H190 that the high temp alarm sounds on the 1st key turn that normally would just be to power the radio, etc. It also sounds on the 2nd key turn to start the engine. Can someone help me figure how to make it only sound on the 2nd key turn to start the engine?

Turn the key counter clockwise to power the radio.

Like Ric said, if your setup sets the alarm off on the first key position than it should also have an accessory position to the left. Mercruiser or V/P?

unfortunately your depth finder will not activate in the radio position... and this is handy to have on if you are just floating around... I am thinking of rewiring mine... the volvo 3 beeps is extremely annoying to have to put up with every time you turn the key... especially if yours is as loud as mine... :-) nice to know the alarm is working, but there could have been a softer message...
