Usually about 2x a month I like to take the boat out on the Ohio river here in Louisville, KY to grab some dinner somewhere and then hang outside one of the riverside restaurants that have a live band. we'll just BS and listen to the music for a few hours. Well, there are not many places to get dinner on the river since flooding washed away many of the docks and most restaurants did not rebuild them. Fed up with the lack of choices we decided to bring our own food, but I'm a meat eater so I needed a way to cook it. It just so happens that the bow ladder mounting location was perfect for this since I don't use the bow ladder anyway. It's not fancy but here's what I did.

It uses thumb screws to screw into the threaded holes that the bow ladder used and I made it far enough from the boat to prevent the heat from affecting the boat and to prevent any splatter from getting into the open bow. it's still easy enough to lean over the anchor storage door and get to stuff on the grill. Not fancy but completely functional for less than $10

P.S. that's actually not rust on the grill but the reflection of the nice orange sunset behind us

Thanks guys.

We already had the grill which is nice because it locks closed and the legs fold in so you can carry it like a briefcase. It actually fits under the rear starboard seat too although I only carry on nights that's we know we are going to use it. The grill mount fits in the rear storage over the afterpods and with the thumb screws I just wait until I'm anchored to get it all out and it only takes 5 minutes to have it all set up. Being so open to the air I've noticed that it cools off really quick too so I can put it away when it's time to get moving again. If it's not cold enough then I just spray it down with the water cannon and it's good to go.
