I have a 1995 four winns horizon 200sl with a ford 5.0 motor with a volvo penta outdrive. I just found out that my fuel pressure regulator is bad. The mechanic shop I took it to said that the regulator is no longer made and i may need to switch over to carburetor. I want to keep the fuel injection that is on it, but i need to find some kind of dealer that has this part that i need. Does anyone know of a dealer or an online site that carries this part?

Find a Ford dealer and ask them. If you do swap out for a carb let me know I have a carb and manifold that came off of my engine when I built my 351. The old engine was a 1996 5.0 302. It should bolt right on.

rockauto.com search for 1988 mustang 5.0 fuel pressure regulator. $16 bucks plus shipping.

Get a new mechanic ASAP.

For around $80 he can get a really trick looking billet aluminum adjustable fuel pressure regulator. Might come in handy if he ever decides to upgrade the heads/cam/intake. I really wish my boat had that engine. You can find used supercharger kits everywhere for cheap. 500hp bowrider? Yeahhhhhh buddy

Why do you want to pay $125 for a $16 part? You feeling okay? If you want a better brand name you can get an ACDELCO one for around $25. It's part #2172106

Yes, I crossed it on the mallory website. The only concern I might have about using the automotive one is what the fuel pressure regulator is dialed in at...often times the marine ones even though look the exact same are dialed in for a different PSI...being that marine stuff is meant to run wide open for extended periods where car setups are not.

I am also looking for some steering components that are located right behind the rubber boot. It looks like the u joint that is connected to the tilt wheel is busted and there is way too much play in the steering. Does anybody know where i can find the parts online?

i can't find a link for that steering kit. The part number 500278 isn't coming up as a valid part number.
