| Post subject: | Replacing Pcv Valve |
Hi guys some how or another my PCV valve went missing. I know sounds crazy but I just had my carburetor rebuilt and when reinstalling it I noticed just the rubber plug in the valve cover. I don't remember taking it off when removing the Carb my only thought is maybe when it was winterized they removed it and forgot to put it back on. Anyway I am looking for a replacement part number. I can't seem to find any info on it. If anyone could give me this info that would be awesome. It. for a Volvo 3.0L. Can I get this at a regular auto parts store? Thanks for your help |

well, you did not specify the VP engine type other than 3.0.. (i.e. Gxi, GL, etc) I'll bet they are all the same though the valve is the last item under maintenance parts i believe, but make sure and choose your correct model this one could be wrong (11 Valve 3856884 1 $13.71 Add to Cart) http://www.volvopentastore.com/Maintena ... _id.767684 |

Thanks for getting or that for me. You know I can't remember off the top of my head if its a gl or a gxi but I think your right they are probably the same. Thanks again |
