I recently picked up a new to me 1998 Horizon RS (18'). Is is moored in freshwater lake. Please see the picture. It is noticeably listing to the right. Bilge is dry. I suspect very slow leak maybe hiding water? is this possible. Water logged foam maybe? I am not too familiar with construction of boat is below floor, but looking for some input as to possible causes, how to diagnose, and solutions. Thanks for the help

What side are your batteries on?

First boat? A battery is heavy enough to make it lean to one side an inch or 2

There is a well described problem with Horizons and other models listing starboard that has been attributed to the dual battery set up on the starboard, and very stern side. This apparently has been corrected on more recent models. My 2005 250 lists to the right annoyingly and I will one day break down and move the batts. Also there is an inverter there to add something. Now with only a single batt you can't blame it easily on that. Where is your gas tank? Where is the fresh water holding tank if it has one? Is it listing without any gear or people on it?

There is a thread on posting pics on this site. It is easy after you've done a few.
