This silver aluminum piece in the middle is broken and i am trying to find a replacement part. I have a 1995 four winns 200 sl horizon volvo penta outdrive 5.0L ford motor. Any information would be gladly appreciated.

The FW part number is 040-0114 as long as your boat is a later model 95 and not produced in 94. The best verification is call a FW dealer with your Hull ID and they can tell you for sure. It is a Morse system, which is now Teleflex.

You can pick up teleflex tilt columns on craigslist (the whole thing) for around $100

Same thing just happened to me on a 245 Sundowner. Failed in spectacular fashion. Where did you get the part? Could you provide the Teleflex part number you used? I know it is a long shot, but thought I'd give it a try.

Screws fall out of mine ALL THE TIME, I have broken two screws but never the collar. I think this is the weakest part of the boat.
