I'm just wondering if this is a common complaint. I got this fish-and-ski used with only 30 hours on it. I don't recall noticing any cracks or weakness on the storage doors under the bow cushions. After tubing most of the day with friends, though, I noticed cracks around the outside corners of both doors in the same place.

I intend to have them repaired or replaced, but I'm wondering if I'm just gonna have to do it again because of a design flaw with the storage doors?

I'm kinda wondering if I should cut out some plywood or see if there's something i can put under the cushions and over the doors to support weight better...

Just noticed this is your first post.... welcome! I wish I could give you the golden answer here, but most of us don't know a whole lot about H183's... from your post its hard to envision an answer.... we need a picture... if you don't know how to do this please visit various faq's on how to do this...
