Post subject:  New to the Funship Family

Hello everyone! We bought a used 2005 Funship 214 about 7 months ago. We love the boat's capacity and features. The ride seems to be quite rough with any chop at all. We are guessing that this is due to hull design particular to this deckboat.

Trying to find parts is somewhat difficult as the second bow from the back on the bimini is missing. The parts site doesn't have a breakdown of the parts of the bimini. Any ideas on where to source one or do I need to look into having it fabricated?

Welcome to the forum!!

Yes, the Funship bounces around a bit, but you'll get used to it's handling...

Don't have any information for you on the bimini, except to call Four Winns customer service and ask them for advice. You may get lucky and have someone on here who is very well informed in the boating industry chime in with who the suppliers of the biminis are.

Also - post pics of your boat, and put up a pictur of your bimini while you're at it!

Glad to see another Funship owner on this forum........I was beginning to think there was only 2 of us left!

We live in Winter Garden, FL. That pic was taken at Anclote Key off of Tarpon Springs. We do love our Funship.

BTW, I did find out from a dealer that they have to bend the stainless pipes themselves for the bimini. He recommended and gave me the dealer specs/instructions for the bend and two end connector specs to take to a local shop.
