Post subject:  A Funship with thru hull???!!!
Well guys (and gals) I am new to this forum and wondering if any one else has done what I am doing to my boat. I bought this boat in 2009 5 days before christmas. It's a 2007 F224 with 300hp volvo penta, duo prop drive and only 25hrs at the time I bought it. I have had 2 other boats before this one but never owned a deck boat. I really have enjoyed this boat and have been wanting to do some upgrades. When I bought the boat the first thing I wanted to do was add silent choice thru hull. Definitely a challenge on this boat, BUT not impossible. I actually found a Corsa kit on eBay that was intended for a Four Winns S.S. with a big block mercruiser. Well the price was right so I nabbed it up. Now its been 3 years and I am finally installing it. I waited so long because I just couldn't get myself to cut holes in my new boat but now it's time. Installation has really not been too bad. I am waiting on 4-4" stainless elbows to finish and I should have those tomorrow. By this time tomorrow night I should be firing it up and listening to the music of all 8 cylinders singing loud and proud(not too loud,,lol). As soon as I finish this project then I will post some pics. I might even post a video on You tube if I can figure out how to do all that. I cant seem to figure out how to get the pics sized down small enough to post on here.
So any way, has any one else out there tried this?

I can't justify spending 2 grand to hear the engine louder otherwise I wish my boat had it!

That's the best part of this whole deal, I am only going to have less than half that into this system. Gotta love eBay! Found my system on there 3 years ago for $600! Deals are out there but you gotta be lookkng

Well it's DONE! Fits like a glove. Very mellow sound to it. Wont really get a good listen to it till on the water which will be Thursday. Hopefully between now and Sunday I can figure out how to down size the photos enough I will post them.
