I just changed my oil and drained almost 8 quarts. What is the capacity? I have also paid someone to do it. Thanks |

I just changed mine also. Oil change w/filter is 5 Quarts |

Per the GXi-E manual it is 5.5 qts with the filter, 4.5 qts without filter. I kinda find it hard to believe that the filter holds a whole quart. http://www.volvopenta.com/volvopenta/in ... _data.aspx |

Well, what I see, shows most of the 5.0 GXi are a 6 qt. capacity, but a few that are the 5.5 qt. as mentioned. To be accurate, you need to know the full model ID, as in GXi-E or similar..
