Hi there, I'm dewinterizing my 2000 Four Winns 234 Funship with a Vovlo Penta 5.0Gi engine and I can find all but 1 drain plug location. There are the two smaller brass plugs, one for each side of the bottom of the block. The two larger ones on the rear of each manifold. I have one more smaller brass plug, the same size as the two on the block, and I cannot find it's home! I thought it was on the backside of the engine somewhere but I cannot find where. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! I really do not want to pay someone to one plug in! Thanks |

Could be for the power steering cooler on the rear of the engine. |

Honestly I don't like leaving plugs out over the winter, it increases the chance of losing one and can cause rust in cast iron threads. Remove them when draining, poke the holes, put OMC gasket sealer on the threads and re-install. |
