My bimini seems to have stretched, especially in the middle section. I'm considering 3 possible solutions: 1) wet it and put it in my gas dryer for awhile to try to shrink it back 2) have an upholsterer rework the seams to take out the excess 3) buy a new top (fabric only) I know others have to be dealing with this issue as I saw a 2007 model with a Dickson top that was sagging too. Any advice? |

Do not put it in a dryer. The material has some acrylic woven into it. The heat from the dryer will destroy it and could actually stretch it, rather than shrink it. |

My bimini sags as well but when the full enclosure is on, it is tight as a drum (and given the spirit of this thread, my wife will attest to this). I would be careful with how much altering you do unless your bimini sags even when the camper canvas is on. |

However, I did notice that the edges out by the zippers don't seem very stretched -- if at all. This makes sense because the zippers helped keep that length as original. Rather than cut the side zippers out, I'm figuring we'll come in about 6" from the sides and take in the slack from there. |
