As has been discussed elsewhere on here recently, if it doesn't specifically have a big sticker on it that reads, "Ignition rated" or have one of a myriad of SAE, Jxxxx, ANSI, UL, CSA, ABYC ratings or something similar, your boat will blow up, killing you and all your passengers in a terrible, fiery mushroom cloud of death, destruction, and mayhem. Even though the $15 part will have the exact same part number as the $2000 part, including the exact same specifications, you'd best get the $2000 part, since it's been blessed by the pope to not cause any bad things to happen. We all know now that even if you do have a massive fuel leak in your bilge, all those stickers will absorb all energy created that could potentially ignite the fuel so that nothing will happen at all, even in such adverse, stoichiometric A/F ratio conditions
Sorry, couldn't resist... it's Friday evening and I feel fine
