There's an on-line site called Wilkes, Wilks or something similar in the UK who supply a huge variety of rubber profile seals. When I repainted the frame on my 1999 Sunsdowner, I just used a thick black rubber foam strip from Screwfix, it worked fine.

PS Were you anchored up near the Holyhead marina access bridge the weekend before last? I saw a FW Sundowner (turquoise gel coat band) there when I was going back to our car.
