when I go to the store section Parts Catalog,Model Years,1997, options are 205 SUNDOWNER STANDARD 1997 205 SUNDOWNER SUNSPORT 1997 205 SUNDOWNER U-SEAT 1997 cheers |

Your model is Sundowner, are you trying to figure out what package your Sundowner came with? I know the U-Shaped seat came standard on the DLX (which is what I have), but I also have heard you can pretty much get your boat configured any which way ya want..... |

Oh, as far as the catalog, those 3 designations don't really mean much except for cockpit configuration, and cosmetics. As far as mechanical parts, all should be the same... |

Standard seating has a box over the engine with two "jumpseats" on either side. Sunsport is a bench seat across the back of the boat. U-Seat is a U shaped seat that is across the back and wraps around to each side a little bit. |
