Is anyone out there running Smart Tabs on a 205 Sundowner or another size Four Winns. Do they work?

I have smart tabs, although I just broke one of the pistons on a deadhead, and I don't think I'll spend the money to repair as the minimal performance boost doesn't justify the cost. I might consider hydraulic tabs as an alternative
