I'am trying to put some type of extension onto the bow with a roller so i can lower the anchor and retrive it ,keeping the anchor line in the center of the bow

Thank you

It sounds like you want a bow roller?

As in: http://www.marinepartdepot.com/ststanro1.html

OR

http://www.defender.com/category.jsp?pa ... &id=712840

You just need to take measurements in order to have the right fit. It has to extend enough over the bow and be bolted down to the deck. Than the anchor can be left out there with the use of a chain stopper. http://www.marinepartdepot.com/new316ststan.html

Had exact issue with my Sundowner 255. I had a custom bow sprit/roller made - works a treat. I can post or PM photos for you if you like?

Brian :)
