I was wondering if someone knew where I could find a replacement window and shocks for this? It cracked last season, and I am having issues trying to find one... Anyone have any suggestions? I would like to replace the shock as well. Thanks in advance!

Also... I am looking for a good bimini top that you don't have to duck in...

I took my old shock into an autozone and matched it with a car rear hatch shock. Of course that wasn't the circular portal it was the top panel on the doorway to the cabin. Not sure if it's the same one you're talking about.

Hi Chris. the one I am needing is the circular portal on the top... I don't know if you can replace that shock, as it really isn't a shock, it screws in to lock it in place.

By the way... what bimini top do you have? Thanks!

I saw the round glass portal on eBay here : http://www.ebay.com/itm/111173447183?_trksid=p2055120.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT...maybe that seller knows where to get the hinge?

My Bimini (and I have a Vista not a sundowner) is the original as far as I know, it has the four Winns tag on it.

Do you have a bimini, looking for brand new, or are you looking for a replacement bimini? The factory one on my SD is the 2 piece, 6 pole. I'm 6'1" and have no probs walking under it.

I am in the process of getting new poles for my bimini/camper top. Four Winns apparently stops offering factory parts after a certain amount of years. I was told this is the last year I can order parts for my '97 from the factory.
I have the factory top and it is plenty tall. All my canvas is good, the poles were damaged so I want to get factory ones to make sure my canvas fits properly. Other wise I'd probably just have a local boat shop make the whole thing from scratch, probably cheaper although I haven't priced it out.

I gather you are referring to the round deck hatch. My kids when they were young cracked the one on my 205 Sundowner more than once by letting the hatch drop with one of the lever handles cocked in the wrong place. So far the once of my 225 Sundowner has never been broken. Most glass shops carry tinted plexiglass, twice I had them cut me a new one, I then drilled holes for the latch handles and siliconed it back into the frame. Good as new!
