My wife complaned during her first cruise on our 1988 205 Sundowner this past weekend that the engine noise was too loud. The boat has the 4.3L V6 with a 4bbl carb for 205hp. Is this setup typically louder than say a 2bbl 4.3l V6. I think it is a little louder than the 2bbl setup but want to hear what some others have to say. She likes it quiet what can I say.  Maybe some suggestions to sound proof the engine compartment better?? Thanks JS |
