Hoping someone has some ideas on where to start - my Lowrance Combo unit (factory installed) on my Sundownder 255 keeps resetting itself intermittently whilst under way. I'm assuming it's a connection problem in the power circuit somewhere, but can anyone give me a starting point if they have experienced this before please? As for wiring for 12v power - is it direct back to the battery (I can't seem to see it)? I can't see it marked on the 12v power buss under the dash either? Thanks in advance.

I would remove the unit so I could see better and check the connections to it. Than go from there.

thanks Paul - I've re-seated the power plug at the back of the unit several times - my post was more asking where the power is likely to be terminated, as I can't easily determine that. The installation manual says it's ideal to run power direct to the battery, but I can't see that has happened in this case. The power plug also has NMEA Data & power circuits as part of it. Just don't want to go disturbing things if someone can point me to the likely power source.
